The NRV Master Gardeners will hold a plant clinic/information booth on Sept 11th from 10:00 am to 4:15 pm at the Floyd Livestock and County Fair at Chantilly Farm in Floyd. In addition to free seeds and gardening information, there will be free houseplant root cuttings to take home.
NRV Master Gardeners will be offering daily plant clinics as well as fun and informative gardening activities such as creating moss Fairy Gardens, houseplant cuttings, herb gardens, fall veggie gardens, bud vase flower arrangements and more! Stop by our booth in the Wysor Building on the NRV fairgrounds in Dublin each evening from 5:00-9:00 pm and Tuesday/Saturday from 2:00 pm – 5:30 pm. For more information visit https://nrvfair.com
The NRV Garden Tour is scheduled for Saturday July 10th, 9:00am-5:00pm. The Tour, sponsored by the Friends of the Library with the cooperation of the New River Valley Master Gardeners’ Association, will visit five local gardens in the Blacksburg area.
